The evolution of medical technology and medicine as a science makes the architectural solution approach evolve, from our point of view, this constant evolution makes it necessary for buildings to have specific characteristics that we decided to impose on this project, such as:

Our proposal ensures that the architectural medical program and the architectural project form a coherent and complete organism in their functional relationships. The proposal was developed with a great effort to synthesize the functional packages and the elements of service, communication, structure, equipment, etc., to release the program elements and ensure high elasticity and flexibility in the distribution of hospital services. This Preliminary Project is radically committed to an accessible and healthy architecture in all aspects. In the literal sense, it is for its usefulness, but it also does so concerning the perceptual and cultural territory of the citizens. In this sense, we opted to investigate and propose an architecture that understands the citizen as a “user” and, therefore, in which everything that is daily and accessible (not symbolic) can have a hospital is exalted. For this, we abate, on the one hand, compositional effects (main façade, access axes, symmetries, etc.). We value certain functions and complementary elements that categorize the aspects of the domestic program (cafeteria with a terrace on a visible edge, exaltation of vegetation and gardens, exhaustive use of natural light and the sun, not only in the places of work but in all those that receive citizens for their assistance).
